Hosted and Unhosted
If you have an extra bedroom and enjoy opening your home to guests, offering a hosted accommodation may be for you. Guests arrive on prearranged schedules and require clean attractive surroundings as well as a measure of privacy. Access to a private bath is optimal, however, some guests don't mind shared baths assuming discretion is observed. Light access to kitchen facilities is usually offered as well as the "fixings" for a continental breakfast. Of course, a clean room with fresh linens and towels and a minimum of clutter is essential. Cable TV and access to a phone are appreciated amenities. As a rule, guests are provided with their own key so they may come and go as they please during their stay.
Unhosted accommodations are furnished, fully equipped apartments exclusively at the disposal of the guest during their stay. As in hosted situations, cleanliness and convenience are a must. Fresh bedding, towels, etc. are provided. Additional amenities such as alarm clocks, coffle makers, radio/cd, players and internet connections make your offering more attractive. Arrangements are made through City Lights and incoming guests pay you, the host, directly for their entire stay upon arrival.
